The UH-1V
 
The UH-1V is the medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) permanent US Army conversion of the UH-1H "Huey". A total of 200 UH-1Hs were modified to this medevac configuration in the 1980s. This single-engine helicopter carries no external weapons, but can be equipped with 6 standard litters to carry wounded. Additional medical equipment and one medical attendant could also be carried. The UH-1V was the helicopter featured in the movie Courage Under Fire.

ARTICLE I
NAME
This organization shall be know as the TIKI MAST Civilian Coordinating Committee, hereinafter referred to as the Committee.  Its geographic area of responsibility shall include those portions of Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Southeastern Missouri which are included within the one hundred (100) nautical miles radius of Fort Campbell, Kentucky The Committee is a non-profit corporation, incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

What IS MAST

MAST or Military Assistance to Safety and Traffic is a cooperative program of the Department of Defense, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. MAST provides military helicopter ambulance to transport civilian medical emergencies. MAST is a supplement to your local emergency medical service system and is used only when there is a life-threatening situation in which time is a major factor to save a life. Fort Campbell will not compete with any civilian organization.
